My standard fee is $210 for a 50-55 minute session.
The Initial Evaluation (first session) is 80-85 minutes long; the fee is $315.
Your insurance is a contract between you and your insurance company. Please contact your insurance provider to verify if your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services and telehealth (online therapy).
These questions may help you determine your benefits when you contact your provider:
- Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
- Does my health insurance plan cover mental health telehealth counseling (online therapy)?
- Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
- Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
- Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?
If You Do Not Have Insurance, or Choose Not to Use Your Insurance
Under the new No Surprises Act, health care providers are required to give clients or prospective clients who do not have or do not choose to use their insurance a Good Faith Estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You may ask your therapist (or any other health care provider) for a Good Faith Estimate prior to scheduling your first appointment, or at any time during treatment. If you receive a bill that is $400 or more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Be sure to save a copy or picture of the Good Faith Estimate. I accept payment through Zelle, Paypal, Venmo, and check. I do not file insurance forms, but can supply a Superbill for you to submit if you have confirmed with your insurance company that they compensate for psychotherapy services and online psychotherapy.
Your appointment is a reservation of time, specifically for you. Please give a minimum of 24 hours notice if you must cancel or reschedule your appointment. The full fee will be charged for a missed appointment without 24 hour notice.
